The crew of the Buccaneer Pirate Cruise recently asked our Facebook Fans which part of the cruise was their favorite.  There’s so many things to do aboard the Buccaneer that kids and adults have  a hard time deciding what they like best.  Singing? Dancing? Treasure Hunting?

Most all respondents rank meeting the Pirates as the best part of the cruise. Captain Courageous shares his love of adventures with all who board the ship, and Captain Cannonball is an ace treasure hunter, ensuring all who board the Buccaneer will find the riches others thought were long lost.  While not as well-known as some of the more notorious female pirates, Irene the Pirate Queen is a fearless and fierce Pirate in her own right. She and her crew of all women pirates, including first mate Priscilla the Pirate Princess successfully commandeered ships from Jamaica to Hispaniola aboard the Sirens Call. Talk about Girl Power!  You can get more biographical details on all the crew at the Buccaneer website.

Treasure hunts also rank highly among Buccaneer visitors. Who can resist the challenge of exploring the depths of the Choctawhatchee Bay and the Gulf of Mexico? Out team of expert treasure hunters will lead you to the treasures buried along the Emerald Coast.   Knowing that learning about the history of the harbor and the bay is almost as much fun as looking for buried treasure, your pirate guides will provide interesting historical and trivial facts about the people, places, and things, that contributed to the rich history of Destin and the Harbor.
